Our Story
Acrylics by Shopkakes is a family business, created with love and creativity. It all began in 2019 when I, Carolina Franco, decided to start on this baking journey, with many hopes and dreams I'd opened the doors of my home bakery and that is where Shopkakes "cakes and sweets for any occasion" was born. Since then, I have been dedicated to creating unforgettable moments for my clients through all cakes and sweets that go for the special dates. My husband, Alfonso Hernandez, has been my greatest support and companion on this journey, always contributing his ideas to improve my business. He is currently a production manager for a company in the acrylic industry and has been there for 9 years. He is constantly thinking about what he could create to make my life much easier and make my cakes much more special and beautiful for our clients. With great success, Shopkakes grew until it became one of the favorite places for our community, and at the same time allowed me to work at home and be with my family, which were the main reasons why Shopkakes was created. This is where Acrylics by Shopkakes emerges when we can combine both forms of expression and therefore, continuing to give life to unforgettable moments and opening doors to new ways to make cakes and cookies in innovative ways in which many other people like me can continue to grow and offer new products with the help of our templates and baking tools.
